American Flag
A friend of mine from Belgium came over to Mexico for a short visit and had asked me what I wanted as a gift from Belgium// I told him a T shirt that said: -Belgium- in the front would do fine, and then e mailed me as he was stepping out from his house catching a ride to the airport with his mom. He said: He didnt check his e mail and checked it right before leaving to the airport ;D... anyways, what he brought me was a beer ;D (a 40 oz). and chocolate from his hometown // a yellow Wizard hat and an American flag ( a huge one, like a blanket almost) , when I first saw it , we both 
laughed and I asked him: what am I gonna do with a flag so big? Im not even American! LOL! We took some pictures on the beach and said farewell to him and his new family.
When I got home I began to think what to do with this flag that was now in my apartment. At first I wrapped it around me, because i remembered Mick Jagger doing it on the - I Can´t get no satisfaction - video , and it felt really good on me, I felt like a Rock star for a moment, but then my Mexican pride kicked in, and had to remind myself that Im not American, so at first i thought I could use it as a surong for the beach; But then, I remembered looking at some tourist sit on a Canadian flag towel on the beach while i was with some other friends and someone mentioned that this was anti-constitutional and considered as bad behaviour towards the country because its basically putting your ass on patriotism, so, what I did instead was to cut it in two, made the striped part into a surong for the beach, and the stars part into a pillowcase > I can now go to the beach using it without feeling Im offending any tourists that comes and punches me in the face for sitting on their flag ;D, but now that I cut it, I might be doing it ¨unintentionally ¨posting this on a blog, but, my will is good, so that balances out, i guess.
